Graduate in Computer Science by the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Graduate in Financial Consultancy by the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Languages: Bilingual in English, having lived in USA till the age of 14. He has worked at the Institute since 1987 in various positions. Since 2012 he is the Director of the Institute.
LAURA DÍAZ-GÜEMES ESCUDERO
Graduate in Law. Languages: Intermediate level of English, intermediate level of French, beginner level of Valencian. Customer service and administration coordination at ISS since 2012. She is responsible for the administrative management at the Institute and also for assisting students in their possible needs: organizing activities, day trips, assistance with public transportation, maps… and any activity that can help a student to become integrated from the first day.
ISABEL BLASCO GIMÉNEZ
Graduate in Spanish Philology. Languages: High level of English, intermediate level of French, advanced level of Valencian. Academic Coordinator at ISS since 1995, she had previously worked at the Institute as Professor of Spanish. It is her responsibility to coordinate schedules, groups and levels of the courses, to assist students, to supervise host families and to coordinate faculty and administration.
CRISTINA JIMÉNEZ SIMÓ
Graduate in Spanish Philology. Spanish as a Foreign Language teacher since 2001. DELE Examiner for the “Instituto Cervantes” in Rome from 2003 to 2008.Professor of Spanish as a Foreign Language and Spanish Literature at the ISS since 2010.
ADELINA JARQUE RAMOS
Graduate in Geography and History. Experience in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language since 2005. Professor of History, Geography, Art, Grammar and Spanish as a Foreign Language at ISS since 1997.
NURIA RIPOLL SERRANO
Graduate in English Philology. Master in English Literature, Oral Culture and Stylistics, Doctoral courses in English Stylistics. Languages: English, bilingual. Professor at the ISS since 2016.
Graduate in School Teaching. Master in Speech Therapy. Languages: Intermediate level of English, high level of Valencian. Teacher of Methods of Spanish Language Teaching since 2017.
CARLOS GARCÍA ARANDA
Graduate in French and Spanish Philology. Master in French Philology. Languages: English, bilingual; French, bilingual. Professor at the ISS since 1994, teaching Translation and socio-linguistics for teachers, Spanish for professionals and Spanish as a Foreign Language.
